The Best Minute: How to move people, the right priorities, and overcome problems
2 QUOTES FROM OTHERS
I. Daniel Pink on how to move people:
“Questions are often more effective than statements in moving others. Or to put it more appropriately, since the research shows that when the facts are on your side, questions are more persuasive than statements, don't you think you should be pitching more with questions?”

II. Stephen Covey on the right priorities:
“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule but to schedule your priorities.”
2 IDEAS FROM ME
I. We can believe that God exists and still not believe God.

II. The best way to overcome a problem is not to figure out the overall solution upfront. Instead, you should focus on figuring out what your next step should be. After multiple steps, you’ll be closer to resolving your problem. For example:
Don’t worry about how to lose 20 pounds, figure out how to lose one pound.
Don’t worry about how to build an entire coffee table, figure out how to long to cut the wood. Then figure out how to build the legs. Then figure out how to build the base, etc.
Don’t worry about how to run an entirely new software program, figure out how to input basic data into it first.
Don’t worry about how you will go from 0-10 before you think about how you will go from 0-1.
