⏱️ You get your standard

💡 2 THOUGHTS FROM ME

I. You won’t always achieve your goals, but you will always get what you settle for.

Whatever standards you set, you will never magically exceed them.

II. Your habits, not your desires, determine your future. For many of us, it’s not that our desires or dreams are too big; it’s that our daily rhythms aren’t aligned with who we want to become.

💬 2 HELPFUL QUOTES

I. Nick Cave on love and grief:

“It seems to me, that if we love, we grieve. That’s the deal. That’s the pact. Grief and love are forever intertwined. Grief is the terrible reminder of the depths of our love and, like love, grief is non-negotiable.”

II. Lucy Mallory on the power of thoughts:

“Every thought a person dwells upon, whether he expresses it or not, either damages or improves his life.”

📖 1 BRIEF BOOK REVIEW

How To Tell The Truth by Preston Perry

A book about sharing the Gospel with others. It feels weird to call this a book about evangelism, as that is not how the book "feels," but that is essentially what it is.

It is an easy to read and enjoyable book. It is both inspiring and practically helpful. Plus, it's on the shorter side so anyone could start and finish it. It's hard to rate this book as it is rather niche, and it doesn’t always read like a typical book.

However, I would say it is one of the best books I have read when it comes to living and sharing the life changing message of Jesus.
